Website plan terms
Openfront · last updated 20 October 2026 · Privacy policy
1. Who we are
Openfront is run by Tony Qin, ABN 92 286 252 316, based in Melbourne, Victoria ("we", "us"). Contact: opnfrnt@gmail.com · +61 412 380 203. We are not registered for GST, so our prices don't include GST and we don't charge it.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to our monthly website plan. You agree to them when you make your first payment through our payment link. They are the same for every client; your business name, start date and price are shown on your payment receipt.
3. What's included
- A website for your business, built and designed by us. You see a preview first, and we make reasonable changes until you're happy before it goes live.
- Your own domain name (for example yourbusiness.com.au), registered and renewed while you're on the plan.
- Hosting and the secure padlock (SSL).
- Small changes when you ask: hours, prices, menu or service items, photos, contact details and short text edits. We aim to make them within 2 business days. This is a fair-use allowance of about 1 hour of work a month; bigger jobs are quoted first.
Not included unless we agree a separate price: extra pages or a full redesign, online shops, booking systems, logo design, email hosting and paid advertising.
Accessibility. We build every site to follow the WCAG 2.2 level AA accessibility guidelines: readable colour contrast, text that works with screen readers and keyboards, and nothing that depends on animation. Each site is checked with automated accessibility tests before it goes live. Some things depend on you (for example, photos that contain important text), and we'll tell you if anything needs changing.
No tracking, no cookies. Your website has no advertising trackers, analytics or cookies, and doesn't load anything from other companies when it opens. Its fonts are stored on the site itself, and the map is only loaded from Google Maps if a visitor clicks "Show map".
4. Price and payment
- $59 per month for your first 3 monthly payments, then $49 per month.
- Payments are taken by card through Stripe, monthly in advance, on the same day each month. We never see or store your full card number.
- If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then with no fee.
5. Going live
Your website goes live on your domain after your first payment and once you've approved the preview. To register a .com.au address for you, we need your business's ABN (that's the rule for .com.au), so we'll ask for it.
6. Minimum term and cancelling
- The plan has a minimum term of 3 months (your first 3 payments).
- After that it runs month to month. Cancel any time by emailing us; it ends at the end of the month you've already paid for. There is no cancellation fee.
- If you cancel during the first 3 months, the rest of the minimum-term payments are still due, unless we haven't provided the service as promised or the law gives you a right to cancel.
7. Your domain
Your domain is registered in your business's name and belongs to you. We manage it for you while you're on the plan. If you leave, we'll transfer it to you or to another provider you choose, free of charge (for example by giving you the transfer code). After that, renewing it is up to you.
8. Your content and your website
- Your business name, logo, text and photos you give us stay yours. You give us permission to use them on your website while you're on the plan.
- Photos we add come from libraries whose licences allow business use (such as Pixabay), and you can keep using them.
- If you leave after the minimum term and your account is paid up, we'll give you a copy of your website's files to keep and use as you like.
9. Your responsibilities
- Check the preview and tell us if anything is wrong. Make sure the information you give us is accurate, and that you have the right to use any photos, logos or text you send.
- Claims about your business on the site (prices, hours, licences, qualifications) are your claims. Tell us straight away when something changes or needs correcting.
- You're responsible for meeting any rules that apply to your industry, such as showing a licence number where required.
10. Missed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe will try again and we'll let you know. If it's still unpaid 14 days after it was due, we may pause your website until it's paid. If it's unpaid after 30 days, we may end the plan. Your domain stays yours either way.
11. Refunds
- If your site isn't live within 14 days of your first payment, and the delay isn't because we're waiting on something from you (such as your ABN, domain details or approval of the preview), you can cancel and we'll refund that first payment in full.
- Because the plan is paid monthly in advance, we don't refund part of a month when you cancel.
- If we end the plan, we refund any period you've paid for but won't receive (see section 15).
- None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including a refund for a major failure.
To ask for a refund, email us. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5–10 business days.
12. Add-ons that collect information
If you ask for something that collects visitors' information or sets cookies (such as a contact or booking form, analytics, chat or social media feeds), we'll quote it separately and only add it with a clear notice to visitors and, where needed, their consent. Information collected that way is your business's, so you'll need your own privacy policy for it; we can help you write one.
13. Keeping the site running
Your site is hosted on reputable infrastructure (Cloudflare). We aim to keep it available all the time but can't promise it will never be interrupted. If something goes wrong on our side, we'll fix it as quickly as we reasonably can.
14. Your rights under consumer law
Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away. Where the law allows, our responsibility for a problem is limited to fixing it or supplying the service again, or refunding what you paid us in the 3 months before the problem. We're not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits.
15. If we end the plan
We may end the plan by giving you 30 days' notice. If we do, we'll refund any period you've paid for but won't receive, transfer your domain and give you your website files. We may end it straight away if payments are more than 30 days overdue, or if we're asked to publish something unlawful or misleading.
16. Privacy
We collect only what we need to run your website: your name, business details and contact details. We use them to provide the service and to contact you about it. We don't sell them or share them except with the services that make the website and payments work (such as Cloudflare, Stripe and the domain registrar). Ask us any time to see, correct or delete your information. Full details are in our privacy policy.
17. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we'll email you at least 30 days before. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change applies with no fee and no further minimum-term payments.
18. Questions and disputes
If you're unhappy with anything, contact us first and we'll do our best to sort it out within 14 days. These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia.
